For our first filming session, we went to central London to film shots of Ciara and Luca together, enjoying themselves on a trip to the London Eye and Big Ben. As we were originally planning to film in the aquarium, but this was closed, we did not have a tripod with us when filming. This meant that a large amount of our shots were quite shaky, and whilst some of our shots were intended to be handheld shots and were meant to be fairly shaky, some of them (such as the establishing shots of London landmarks) would be better fitting if we use a tripod. For this reason, we will most likely plan to revisit London and re-shoot some of our scenes in London. This will most likely include establishing shots, and the shot of Ciara walking away into the crowd on the bridge. However, the shots that we did get from this session still have some strengths, such as the fact that they were well-lit. We also liked that in the establishing shots of London, without any characters in them, the sky was a nice colour, as it was filmed during the golden hour and therefore had pink-yellow tones in it. We felt that this was quite fitting for the calming tone of the song, and added to the melancholic feel of the music video as it made the sky look less harsh because of the fact that the sky was not bright blue but instead had a softer blend of colours. In addition to this, as the shot was taken whilst pointed towards landscapes such as Big Ben and the bridge, it makes the location more identifiable to the audience as well as making the shot more interesting. For these reasons, we were happy with the outcome of this shot.
